a poem in mischief
Kiss that frog.
Lower down your hair.
Eat the apple.
Sleep forever.
Wake up to a prince’s kiss.
Take care of the dwarfs.
Ride into the woods wearing RED.
Don’t recognise your grandmother.
Be conveniently gullible.
Eat the witch’s home.
Swim with the ducks when you are a swan.
Become a musician in Bremen.
Appear on your stepmother’s mirror.
Make your stepmother jealous.
Be adored by your father.
Be named after the snow… or cinders.
Live with a beast.
Find a prince charming, or charm a prince.
Kiss all the frogs if needed.
Be cursed by the witches.
Prick a finger on a spinning wheel.
Light a match and dream a dream of being saved.
Have a fin to swim.
Let others climb on your hair.
Be adopted by a fairy godmother.
Wear a glass shoe and dance till midnight.
Ride a pumpkin.
Spoil a witch’s garden.
Let the wolf swallow you alive.
Don’t forget to live happily ever after wherever you are.
Fairy tale the life, life the fairy tale.
